MEET THE POET BEHIND 'TAPESTRY OF MY HEART' SUVARNA SONAVANE

Suvarna is a freelance writer, who lives in Mumbai - India. Her career revolves around Leadership roles in the Supply Chain Management. She is a Daydreamer and loves Art that includes Painting, Crocheting, being freelance Fashion Designer and Lifelong love for storytelling. Almost after 2 decades of staying away from writing; finally, thru this debut book her desire for writing will reflect her thoughts to be acclaimed Author and Poetess. She likes to speak from the heart in the manner of Poetry concerning about Human Values and Nature.
Q1. When did you first realise you wanted to be a poet? Were you always interested in poetry?
Since childhood, I was passionate about reading and writing. My Parents and Maternal Grandparents bestowed these golden habits upon me. So almost, after 25 years, the same passion ignited to write and eventually I came across BookLeaf Publishing 21 Day Challenge and the journey started!
Q2. Your book is titled Tapestry of My Heart. What inspired you to choose this title, and how does it reflect the themes of the collection?
Just as Tapestry comes with various colours and patterns; so, does my Poems are collection of human emotions like Joy, Sorrow, Love, Friendship, Desire and everything in between. Therefore, nothing can be so well suited like the title “Tapestry of My Heart”
Q3. You have reimagined the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast in your 17th poem, which has the same title. What drew you to this story?
Timeless Tale of Love! Kindness and Love is above everything. These stories are kind of childhood Reminiscent of antiquity.
Q4. What does your typical writing schedule usually look like? Do you write when inspiration strikes, or do you follow a more disciplined schedule?
Well, inspiration is 24x7. It is more of organized way mostly during the end of the day when all the errands are settled.
Q5. What was your experience like with self-publishing through BookLeaf Publishing? Can you walk your readers through your journey?
BookLeaf Publishing is indeed supportive and encouraging of the writers. Their 21 Day Challenge gave wings to my thoughts and belief to chase my dreams!
Q6. If you get a chance to sit down with a young poet or author at the beginning of their journey, what advice would you give them?
Stop placing limits on your thinking. Believe in yourself, Stay Vocal and Keep Writing! "The sky is the limit"

Yes! Life is full of surprises so enjoy unwrapping those gifts at your pace. As I said Stay Vocal and Keep Writing!
Q8. What message do you hope your readers will carry with them after they finish reading your book?
My writing in the “Tapestry of My Heart” where every yarn epitomizes a significant moment or connection in reader’s life. This collection of poems will help them grasp the gravity of emotions and feelings connecting with each other. Enjoy every emotions you carry in your heart!
